Chouxffles for snacking any and every time

I played around with choux and made waffles!

First – I have been loving all that you’ve been baking. I love what you’ve made and I love how you help one another. What a terrific start to our adventure. Bakers – that would be you! – are the best people!

When the idea for our Playing Around club was just a quiet but persistent burble, I knew that I wanted us to bake together and I knew that together included me. And I was excited. I said that a couple of weeks into each month’s project, I’d show you my riff and post it with #bakeandtell. What I couldn’t have known then – but what those who know me better than I know myself could have told me – was that I’d get nuts. I’d go into “what if” mode – that’s the loop that starts with “what if I tried this with grape jelly or dried mushrooms or gummy bears” or a hundred other things and ends with me flat-out at the bottom of a rabbit hole.
